What I want.

The following are things I would really like to have on the new iPhone 2.0 update.

1. Speech to text translation. Not from a service but from a native app.

2. Game controller attachment. Could wrap around the phone like a cradle.

3. Bluetooth syncing. Or Bluetooth file transfers.

4. Copy and paste. Enough said.

5. Blog creation app that syncs to the desktop for article backup.

Sometimes I need to get inspiration, and I find that perusing Flickr gives me just the break I need. What I usually do is search flickr on random words that I pick out of web pages, billboards, my crazy messed up mind.

Here are some of the more interesting searches I have stumbled upon:

• revere beach - This is where I was born, Revere Mass. I thought that I’d see some local buildings. etc.. but it turned out to be some really amazing sand sculptures on the beach.
• illustration - really great illustrations.
• found - Mainly a lot of lost or found photos, notes, etc …
• oldtown - Mostly a lot of photos of architecture, from many different countries.
• alien - Interesting alien themed images.
• fallen - Turned out to be a lot of pictures of waterfalls

All Hail the Magical, Mythical, Morally Questionable, “Banana Man” !

So my wife, Sarah, and I were out running errands this weekend, when we came across this guy dressed up in a banana costume. As we were driving I quickly gave Sarah the iphone to capture the awesome sight before us.

There are 3 things to note here:

1. He is wearing a banana costume.

2. He is advertising a house auction, but no where is there a company name, or anything else that relates this house sale to bananas.

3. He is wearing camouflage pants.

So I have to wonder, did he have a spare banana costume laying around ? When he signed up for the job to hold the sign did he think, this is a job for my alter ego "Banana Man"? Is this man a marketing genius?

Well I actually did it. I joined the bloggoshpere!
